For the past week my right ankle and wrist have been fuckin KILLING me. Whenever I put pressure on either, my bones feel as if they're about to snap. I haven't fallen of injured myself or anything so my best guess is that it's arthritis (which is odd since I'm 21), or cause my wrist didn't heal properly when I broke it back in '04

I originally just wanted to tough it out but today it's really bad...it hurts just to turn my grinder

Which doc should I see? I don't have health insurance so I'd rather not see my physician just to have him refer me to a specialist or for an xray...just tryin to be cost efficient

sounds like inflammation. do you eat a lot of animal products or fried food?

Your primary doctor should be able to work this up no problem. If he can't, he'll send you to a rheumatologist, most likely. But I doubt that'll be necessary.

Have you had a flu or serious "cold" within the past month? People get joint flare-ups after infections with certain bacteria.

Be sure your doc gets some blood for a uric acid level too -- could be gout.

There is a new book out that shows the scientific link between consuming animal products and the development of arthritis. You seem a bit young for that though...

Nah I haven't had the flu or anything for at least a year. I ended up goin to like a complete care type place and got an xray...turns out it was an old small fracture which I made worse by working out...I got referred to an orthopedist
